Hapoalim ceases business with Gazan banks

Bank Hapoalim, Israel's 2nd largest bank, announced today that it will no longer be doing business with banks in Gaza. According to Hapoalim, the reason for the decision is because of last week's gov't decision to label the Gaza Strip a 'hostile territory,' although there is speculation that the bank is concerned about money that they supply to Gazan banks ending up in the hands of terrorists.
